He was born to Lloyd and Verna (Lerwick) Jensen, November 19, 1938, in Mason City, IA, where he lived most of his life, raising a family, and providing for them in a business owned with his father. Arnie graduated from the University of Iowa, Iowa City, IA, with a degree in journalism. In the early 1960’s, he volunteered for the Army draft as a medic, spending enriching time in Germany. He used his artistic talents in his job and also drew and painted in his free time as he got older. During his life, Arnie made every effort to enjoy fellowship with others of his faith.
