MINOT, ND (trfnews.i234.me) — A Minot man was arrested Tuesday night in southeast Minot on multiple charges, including terrorizing and firearm offenses.
Minot Police received a call about a disorderly male at a southeast Minot residence around 6:14 p.m. on June 18. When officers arrived, victims reported that their 21-year-old neighbor had threatened them with a firearm.
Upon attempting to confront the man at his home, he fled on foot but was quickly found in a nearby backyard. During his detention, the man allegedly brandished a firearm and threatened the officers. He was subsequently disarmed and taken into custody.
The 21-year-old has been charged with Terrorizing (Class C Felony), Preventing Arrest (Class C Felony), Refusal to Halt (Class B Misdemeanor), False Information to Law Enforcement (Class A Misdemeanor), and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by Persons Prohibited (Class A Misdemeanor). He is currently held at the Ward County Jail.
