this from the circle of friends animals shelter on South Washington in Grand force today uh quote we regret to inform you that due to a sensitive situation with a member of the public involving firearms and concern for the safety of both animals and humans Circle of Friends Animal Shelter is currently on full lockdown and close for the day that was this uh Tuesday afternoon January 16th now I just talked with sergeant stom of the gr Forks Police Department who says for the past couple days uh they’ve been dealing with an individual who has threatened to harm themselves and he had a past relationship with the animal shelter and his pets uh no criminal charges have been filed and that individual did not make any specific threats uh toward uh people or the shelter uh Sergeant angstrom says it wound up they were concerned that he might go to the shelter that never happened again no injuries no criminal charges after uh police deal with a person making self harm threats I’m Neil Berg reporting for I trfnews.i234.me
