Van Ginkel intercepted Aaron Rodgers’ pass and returned it 63 yards for a touchdown, giving the Vikings an early 10-0 lead. This marks Van Ginkel’s second pick-six of the season.
The Jets, trailing 17-0, made a late-game push with Rodgers throwing a touchdown to Garrett Wilson, narrowing the score to 20-17. However, Vikings rookie kicker Will Reichard sealed the win with a 41-yard field goal. Stephon Gilmore’s interception in the final minutes thwarted the Jets’ comeback.
