Looks like a Mooney and the wing tips are not supposed to be touching each other like that.
Looks like all the fuel in the wings was instantly released on impact as a mist/vapor cloud resulting in a large-scale, but brief, fireball. Once it burned out there was fairly small remaining fires in what looked like the detached engine, and the furnishings in the aircraft cabin.
Just enough time for your life to pass before your eyes. RIP
I’m so very sorry. RIP Dr. Edney, his son and his son’s wife. Dr. Edney was a prominent leading breast cancer surgeon in his field.
I’m thankful no one on the ground was hurt or killed.

Much to still be determined here. Juan Browne & Dan Gryder give very good break downs on planes, their tendencies, weather, and much more- but they always qualify it with, "let's see where the investigation leads us".
So, on this one, with the very, very little we can see- namely the wings folded up, parts of the tail section appearing to be missing, and the fairly quick burn-out of the fire? I think I'll pass on any assumptions as far as the plane/occupants are concerned.
What I WILL say? Someone was really watching over the people in that house, who, by all accounts WERE at home at the time of this accident, escaped any injuries. Unbelievable.
What makes it truly amazing? If you look carefully, at the @00:15 mark? We can see what appears to be the aircrafts engine, blowing out the back door of the house, and tumbling off, on fire, and the fire itself, just prior to that, also blowing through the home.
EXTREMELY fortunate, that no one in that home was injured or killed. That will be the one thing to be thankful for, in this tragic event.

The left wing (have to assume the right as well, because it pancaked in belly first) was broken and pointing straight up. Pause at about 0:13 and use keyboard to frame by frame it with the "<" and ">" keys (which are also the comma and period keys).
This looks like one of those rocket propelled emergency plane parachutes could have saved them. Too bad they didn't have one.
