GRAND FORKS, ND – Amazon officially cut the ribbon on its new delivery station in Grand Forks on Thursday, February 20, 2025. The 40,000-square-foot facility is designed to improve delivery speeds for customers within a 60-mile radius of the city.
City leaders, small business owners, and community members gathered for the event to discuss the economic impact and growth potential the new station brings to the region.
Boosting Local Business and Community Growth
Grand Forks business owner Mollie Ficocello, co-founder of 3 Farm Daughters, spoke at the ribbon-cutting ceremony about the positive impact Amazon’s investment has on local businesses.
“As a Grand Forks business owner, I think it’s really exciting to see facilities like this open up in our local community,” Ficocello said. “It continues to show the growth and investment that Amazon is willing to put in our local community, which is exciting not only as a business owner but also as a community member.”
3 Farm Daughters, a Grand Forks-based company that specializes in gut-friendly, high-fiber pasta, has been selling products on Amazon since 2020, reaching customers across the U.S.
“We love to see our community grow and thrive,” Ficocello added. “Seeing Amazon invest here in Grand Forks has been really exciting from both a business and community perspective.”
