Almost 50 Mile Pursuit Comes to a Close in Devils Lake, ND

DEVILS LAKE, ND (trfnews.i234.me) The driver of a stolen vehicle led law enforcement on a nearly 50 mile long pursuit Saturday that ended in Devils Lake.
we had a nearly 50 mile long pursuit on this uh saturday afternoon uh that started east of rugby and ended in devil’s lake uh photos and video here from my news viewers and devils lake this from the higher patrol at 12 19 p.m this saturday highway patrols engaged in the pursuit of a stolen me motor vehicle the trooper attempted to stop arsenio james on u.s highway 2 11 miles east of rugby james fled eastbound on highway 2 for roughly 47 miles the motor vehicle was successfully spiked by the use of tire deflation devices on two separate occasions but james continued to flee the trooper ended the pursuit by performing a pursuit intervention technique causing the motor vehicle to enter the ditch james was taken into custody without further incident and transported to the lake region corrections center charges are pending benson county sheriff’s department ramsey county sheriff devils like police and rugby police all assisted in the motor vehicle pursuit i’m Neil Berg reporting for trfnews.i234.me
