Aitkin County Road Rage Horror: Man Charged After Brandishing Gun Near McGregor!

Aitkin County (trfnews.i234.me) — A terrifying road rage incident near McGregor, Minnesota, has led to serious felony charges.

According to court documents, the incident unfolded on May 1st, just before 1:00 p.m., when a victim was turning off the highway near McGregor. A silver SUV following closely behind slammed on its brakes, then sped past the victim’s vehicle. Shockingly, the driver of the SUV brandished a black handgun, first through his front windshield and then directly at the victim through the driver’s side window.

Law enforcement responded swiftly, locating and stopping the suspect vehicle a short time later. Authorities identified the suspect as David I. Tasler, who was found to be in possession of a .45 caliber pistol at the time of the traffic stop.

Tasler now faces a felony charge for assault with a dangerous weapon, a serious offense under Minnesota law that could result in lengthy prison time if convicted (Minnesota Statutes, Section 609.222).
