RICHLAND COUNTY, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – A 24-year-old man was airlifted to Fargo following an accidental shooting in the parking lot of the Minn-Dak sugar beet plant near Wahpeton, North Dakota, on Wednesday afternoon. The incident occurred around 12:23 p.m. when the Richland County Sheriff’s Department received a report of a shooting that had taken place inside a motor vehicle.

The injured man, a contract employee at Minn-Dak Farmers Cooperative, was initially transported by private vehicle to St. Francis Hospital in Breen Ridge before being airlifted to Sanford in Fargo. The victim’s current medical condition is unknown, and his identity has not been released. The incident is under investigation, with further details to be disclosed at a later date.
