On November 11, 2023, Detroit Lakes police responded to Curry Avenue and Main Street for reports of a man brandishing a firearm. Witnesses said Kroulik pointed a black pistol at a woman before leaving the area.
Shortly after, he was reported at Northside Bar, where he allegedly slammed a gun on a table and repeatedly displayed the weapon while drinking.
Authorities later determined that Kroulik had taken a Glock 9mm Model 26 Gen 4 from his girlfriend’s vehicle without permission. Days later, Kroulik apologized and returned the stolen firearm.
