it could be her last vacation in a while Ashley Ryan just returned from Florida to find investigators waiting to talk with her at St Michael’s Furniture in Rugby North Dakota where she’d been working as a bookkeeper investigators say she allegedly wrote 121 581.48 worth of checks to herself between July 14th of 2022 and March 27th of 2023. according to the criminal complaint during an April 3rd interview with investigators she admitted to stealing the money by writing the checks to herself she estimated she had three thousand dollars of the money left the rest she had spent Ashley Ryan advised that she enjoyed and wanted the quality of life the financial stability provided Ryan has been charged with two class A felonies of theft of property and forgery or counterfeiting each charge carries a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison he’s also facing a class B felony charge of unauthorized use of personal identifying information I’m Neil Berg reporting for itrfnews.i234.me
