Accused of Repeatedly Threatening to Kill Officer

EAST GRAND FORKS, MN (trfnews.i234.me) An East Grand Forks man is facing criminal charge, after allegedly threatening to kill an officer multiple times.
the 32 year old ivan tessmer of east grand forks is facing a felony charge of threats of violence according to court documents on february 14th east grand forks police responded to a call that tessmer was first causing a disturbance at ace hardware then holiday gas station then sanford dermatology clinic officer arrived at the clinic and placed him under arrest he already had an outstanding warrant out of clay county for theft tessmer struggled with the officer according to the criminal complaint making vulgar and racist comments and repeatedly stated he was going to kill the officer while being booked into jail he stated he should knock out the officer and also stated he was high on meth tessmer has a lengthy criminal history i’m Neil Berg reporting for trfnews.i234.me
