HORACE, N.D. (trfnews.i234.me) – On November 29 at approximately 10:15 p.m., the Cass County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a firearm injury. Upon investigation, authorities determined that the incident resulted from the unintentional discharge of a handgun.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, the man involved stated that he had forgotten to clear the weapon before attempting to clean it. This oversight led to the firearm discharging, with the bullet striking him.
The individual performed basic first aid on himself before law enforcement and medical personnel arrived at the scene. He was subsequently transported to a nearby hospital. His current condition has not been disclosed.
