Thief River Falls, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – At approximately 3:37 p.m., authorities were alerted to a collision at the intersection of Horace Avenue and First Street.
The incident involved Pamela Halvorson, a resident of Thief River Falls, who was operating a 2014 Ford Edge along Horace Avenue. As per the report, Halvorson came to a stop at a designated stop sign before executing a left turn onto First Street. Unfortunately, during the turn, her vehicle collided with a 2021 Chevy Traverse driven by Abigail Swenson, also from Thief River Falls.
Fortunately, there were no reported injuries resulting from the accident.
Following an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision, Halvorson has been cited for failure to yield, indicating a violation of traffic regulations at the intersection.
