Red Lake County Sheriff’s Office Report 3-26-2025

On the afternoon of 03/16/25, a Gervais Township resident requested assistance with removing an unwelcome individual from their property. Red Lake County deputies responded, and the unwanted party had left prior to their arrival. They did speak with that party away from the residence and the situation was mediated.

On the afternoon of 03/18/25, the Red Lake County Sheriff’s Office received a report of someone entering an abandoned house in Oklee. A Red Lake County deputy responded and did not find anyone at the reported location. Nothing appeared to have been stolen or damaged at the property.

On the afternoon of 03/18/25, a Red Lake Falls resident reported being a victim of harassment. Advice was given.

On the afternoon of 03/18/25, the Red Lake County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a property damage hit and run crash in Oklee. That report remains under investigation.

On the morning of 03/19/25, Emergency Responders from Red Lake Falls, Plummer, Oklee, along with members of the Sheriff’s Office and Minnesota State Patrol provided lights and sirens and escorted the Red Lake County Rebels Basketball Team around the county before they departed for the State Tournament in Minneapolis.
