Moorhead, MN (trfnews.i234.me) — A former Clay County Jail corrections officer in Moorhead is now facing felony charges after she allegedly engaged in an inappropriate relationship with an inmate and admitted she had “fallen under his spell.”

- Chloe J. Nord, 25, of Fargo has been charged with two felony counts of fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct.
- Investigators reviewed the jail’s messaging system, which revealed a romantic relationship between Nord and the inmate between November 2023 and her last day on January 20, 2024.
- During questioning, Nord admitted to touching the inmate’s penis through his pants while handing him toilet paper in his cell.
- She initially denied any physical contact but later admitted she became emotionally involved and said, “I fell under his spell.”
