Duluth/Superior (trfnews.i234.me) — Two dozen people were jailed after a major drug operation in the Twin Ports.
Authorities said 10 search warrants were served on Wednesday, Jan. 7.
The warrants were executed in Duluth, Minnesota, and Superior, Wisconsin.
The Lake Superior Violent Offender Task Force led the operation.
Local, state, and federal agencies assisted, officials said.
Target of the investigation
Police said the investigation focused on the Black P Stone street gang.
Officials said the group is tied to Harvey, Illinois.
Authorities said the group was linked to drug trafficking and violence.

What was seized on Wednesday
Officials reported these seizures during the one-day enforcement action:
- $28,609 in cash.
- 330.2 grams of methamphetamine.
- 138.62 grams of fentanyl.
- 79.33 grams of cocaine.
- One illegal firearm.
Officials did not release all suspect names in the announcement.
They said 24 people were arrested during the Wednesday sweep.
Investigation totals since 2023
Authorities said the larger investigation began in May 2023.
They said 48 arrests have been made since the case started.
They also reported these totals seized during the investigation:
- 512.53 grams of methamphetamine.
- 1,797.76 grams of fentanyl.
- 292.69 grams of cocaine.
- 2,201 “M30” pills.
- 12 grams of crack cocaine.
- 17 firearms.
Officials say the case is ongoing
Authorities said the investigation is still active.
They said other suspects may still be sought.
Charging decisions will be handled through prosecutors and courts.
