Renville County, MN (trfnews.i234.me)—A semi-truck accident occurred on January 30, 2025, at approximately 10:11 PM on MNTH Highway 212 near Milepost 95 in Hector Township, Renville County. A 2024 Volvo semi-truck traveling eastbound left the roadway, veering into the north ditch before striking a power pole. The road conditions were reported as dry at the time of the crash.
The driver of the semi, 41-year-old Jarrett Guilbe Gaymon of Bronx, NY, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Hutchinson Hospital for medical evaluation. Authorities confirmed that he was wearing a seat belt, and alcohol was not involved in the incident.
Emergency responders from the Renville County Sheriff’s Office, Hector Police Department, Buffalo Lake Police Department, Fire Department, and Ambulance Services arrived at the scene to assist and conduct an investigation.
