HARVEY, ND (trfnews.i234.me)—Jacob Gable has been arrested by the Wells County Sheriff’s Department and Harvey police in connection with a shooting that occurred on October 11, 2024, at 561 East Brewster Street in Harvey, North Dakota. According to Harvey Police Chief John Foss, Gable faces charges of attempted burglary, two counts of terrorizing, ingesting a controlled substance, and criminal mischief.
The shooting took place in the early hours of Friday, October 11, when law enforcement was called to the scene of a reported burglary and shots fired. Police made contact with the suspect and administered medical attention before he was transported to the hospital. Gable, who was on probation with the North Dakota Department of Corrections, was shot in the arm by the homeowner during the break-in and subsequently airlifted to a medical facility.
