Patricia Jean Kobetsky – Obituary

Patricia Kobetsky, 92, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 15th, 2025, in Mesa, AZ. Patricia Jean (Boushee) Kobetsky was born July 9th, 1932, the daughter of Jerome and Sophia (Amundson) Boushee. She was raised on the family farm near Oslo, MN.  She married, her husband, Morris Kobetsky on November 16, 1950. After marriage, Morris and Patricia moved to the Kobetsky family homestead near Angus, MN where they began raising their family of six children.  In 1959, the family moved to Grand Forks, ND where they resided for many years.

Patricia’s greatest achievement was her family. She enjoyed every minute of family time, and meeting with her beloved sisters, but her main focus was the love of her life, Morrie. She and Morrie were loyal Christians and said the Rosary together every night. Patricia and Morris were devoted partners to each other and were married for an amazing 72 years.

Patricia’s door was always open to family and friends for a cup of coffee and her famous ginger creams, sharing laughter, wisdom, and love. She enjoyed spending her summers at their lake home at Maple Lake, MN, and her winters in Mesa, AZ. Patricia was an inspiration to her family and will be missed by all.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Morris Kobetsky, daughter, Janice (Kobetsky) Hamel; great granddaughter, Pippa Kobetsky; sister, Colleen Lunak; sister, Sharlaene Fearing; brother, Steven Boushee; and brother, Jerome Boushee.
