FARGO (trfnews.i234.me) – Justin Rodriguez, a 39-year-old Fargo resident, was sentenced to five years in prison, with the sentence suspended during three years of supervised probation, after pleading guilty to burglary and theft from a West Fargo auto shop.
In September, Rodriguez and an accomplice, both wearing dark clothing and masks, broke into the Center Street shop. They stole three vehicles, seven sets of keys, five car batteries, check blanks, and a diagnostic scanner. The burglary was recorded by security cameras.
Later that day, the Metro Street Crimes Unit arrested Rodriguez in Fargo. He was found with some of the stolen items, a crowbar used in the break-in, and clothing matching that seen on one of the suspects.
Rodriguez pleaded guilty to the charges and received a five-year prison sentence, which was suspended in favor of three years of supervised probation.
