Harris A Berg, 86, died January 6 2025 in memory care at Cherrywood Villlage Portland, OR.
Harris was born in Drayton North Dakota son of Arnold and Hilda Berg. He grew up on a farm near Nekoma ND where he graduated from high school. He served in the Navy for 4 1/2 years as an Aviation Machinist Mate. After his service he was trained as a draftsman and worked in an engineering office.
He was married to Doreen Krysnisky for 53 years. Harris’s passion was restoring and driving antique cars. He also was talented at woodworking projects making lawn ornaments for friends and family.
Harris is survived by wife Doreen Portland OR, siblings Phyllis Blomquist, Marian {Ron} Rivinius, Harold {Linda}, Berg, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Brother Kenneth, brother in law Alan Blomquist, and niece Karen Blomquist.
