BEMIDJI, MN (trfnews.i234.me) A Bemidji woman is facing felony charges, after a wild night with a broken bottle in that town.
A wild night with a broken bottle in Baiji. Jamie Marie Herd of Baiji is facing charges. Uh reading in part from the statement of probable cause with the names of officers and the victim omitted on July 19th just before midnight. An officer responded to a report of a male running from a female who was chasing him with a broken glass bottle. The male had uh hid in a backyard until police met with him. Police reserved the ma observed the male had scratches on his face and dried blood on his chin. The victim explained that he has a relationship with herd and was at her apartment earlier. Everyone was at the apartment was drinking except for him and they all started rrestling and asked uh the victim to join in the rrestling. Herd said the victim said it became very physical and Herd grabbed him, held him down, pulled his hair and hit him in the face. Uh the Herd hit him in the throat and tried to grab his throat before he pushed her away. Herd uppercut him a couple times. The victim stated he never hit Herd back. Uh Herd then started chasing him with a New Amsterdam bottle and chased him out of the house. Herd then struck the end of the bottle on a curb and broke it and said something like, “Get back here or I’m going to stab you.” The victim hid in a backyard until police arrived. Officers located Herd in her sister’s apartment where the victim stated she would probably be. Herd was located in a crawl space and was non-compliant with deputies to come out as she was under arrest. When Herd was finally brought out, she spit at a deputy, landing spit on his face. Herd now uh facing two felonies of assault with a dangerous weapon and a fourthderee uh assault on a peace officer, thrower transfers bodily fluids. I’m Bob Carlson reporting for Newswe.
