William Fritel, 82 of Rugby and formerly of Rolette died Monday, January 6, 2025 at his home in Rugby. He was born on October 31, 1942 to Rudolph and Catherine (Brossart) Fritel. He is survived by his wife, Lorraine Fritel of Rugby; children, Randy (Lynette) Fritel of Rolette, Renee Fritel of Apache Junction, AZ, Mark (Colleen) Fritel of Ardoch and Dean (Ali) Fritel of Eagle, ID; 7 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and 8 siblings. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 11 at Little Flower Catholic Church in Rugby with military honors to follow. Burial will be in the spring at the church cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. with a rosary and vigil prayer service beginning at 7:00 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home in Rugby. Visitation will continue on Saturday from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
