Woman Suffers Incapacitating Assault In Mahnomen, Minnesota


MAHNOMEN, MN (trfnews.i234.me) Jesse Paul Stilke of Waubun is facing a felony charge of 1st Degree Assault, after a woman suffered an incapacitating assault at a Mahnomen County hotel.
A female victim suffered what sounds like a life-threatening assault at the hotel at the Shooting Star Casino in Manomomen. Jesse Paul Stilky of Wobin, Minnesota, has been charged with felony firstderee assault, great bodily harm. Uh, this happened June 8th, reading in part from the statement of probable cause with the names of officers and witnesses omitted. Uh deputies entered the hotel room. The defendant Stilkkey was sitting on a chair at the table. The deputies observed the female victim uh wedged in between the bed and nightstand. The victim’s pants and underwear were down to her ankles. Her upper body was partially on the bed. The deputy handcuffed uh Stilki and told him he was being detained. Stilky said, quote, “Take me to jail. I don’t give an F.” Uh, the defendant’s speech was slurred, his balance poor, and his eyes were bloodshot and watery. There were empty alcoholic beverages lying throughout the room. As Stilki walked by the victim, he said, “F that hoe.” Uh, law enforcement returned to the room and the victim had remained in the same position she was found in. The deputy noticed the bed was saturated in an unknown substance. The victim’s pants, shirt, and hair were also wet. The victim could not communicate. The deputy pulled up the victim’s underwear and pants. Uh, while doing this, the deputy observed numerous injuries to the victim’s buttocks. The injuries were consistent with getting slapped by a hand multiple times. There were several body abrasions on the right side of the victim. Uh, the victim was incapable of holding up her upper body. When the deputy pulled up the victim’s clothing, the victim’s head went face down into the bed and uh, she began vomiting. Uh the deputy observed a purse and cell phone on the bed that was uh cell phone broken in half and shattered. There appeared to be blood on the pillowcases. There appeared to be blood spout splattered on the wall. The deputy’s interaction with the victim uh showed significant bruising and injuries became began becoming visible on the victim’s arms and head. When the victim was placed on the gurnie, the victim had a large hematoma forming on the right side of her head the size of a baseball. Her right ear was swollen and turning black and blue. Her right eye was injured. A portion of the victim’s left arm was swollen and blued bruised. There were bloody scratches. Her right arm also had multiple bruises.” Unquote. That was from the statement of probable cause. Uh, court records go on to say the victim was unable to answer any questions and taken to the hospital.
