FARGO, N.D. (trfnews.i234.me) – On New Year’s Eve, the Dairy Queen located on 52nd Avenue South in Fargo closed earlier than its scheduled 9:00 PM operating hours. A sign posted by management around 7:30 PM indicated the early closure. At 12:41 AM, Fargo police responded to a security alarm at the restaurant. Upon arrival, officers observed signs of forced entry and property damage. While establishing a perimeter, 24-year-old Fargo resident Keaton Nowacki exited the building and was taken into custody. He faces charges of felony criminal mischief and misdemeanor criminal trespass. The establishment sustained damages estimated at approximately $100,000.
