Back in 2014, Travis L. Carlson of Devil’s Lake, uh, was fired at his position as a police officer in Bellefield, North Dakota, after having sex with a woman in his patrol car while on duty. Now, as chief deputy for the Benson County Sheriff’s Office, he’s facing three felony charges of tampering uh with public records. He allegedly uh falsified records regarding the arrests of natives on tribal lands. Uh plus 10 misdemeanor counts of unlawful arrest, harassment, and refusing to perform official duties, basically not filing reports for the prosecutor.
