Yeah, I agree. Freezing fog doesn’t bring down power lines. Freezing rain mixed with snow and high winds does. I’m ready for the shenanigans. Bought a large kerosene heater yesterday and it works great for warmth. It is so hot on top that it’s a cook stove as well. Safe indoors, hasn’t triggered the monoxide alarms and no soot either. Very happy.
How long have these power lines been in service?
Prolly handled a great many ice storms, other severe Meteorological conditions and whatever else.
Now beware of some power outage next week cause of weather?
