Warroad Residents Face Felony Drug Charges After Undercover Sting

Carrie Ozetta Iceman

ROSEAU COUNTY, MN (trfnews.i234.me) — Two Warroad residents, Carrie Ozetta Iceman, 21, and Kham Vorachak, 27, are facing felony charges for alleged involvement in methamphetamine sales following an undercover operation. Both made initial court appearances on December 2.

Iceman faces charges of third-degree sale of a narcotic, carrying a potential 20-year maximum sentence, and fifth-degree possession of drug residue. Sentencing guidelines suggest 21 to 68 months, depending on her criminal history.

Vorachak is charged with second-degree sale of at least 10 grams of a narcotic in a 90-day period and third-degree narcotics possession, with a possible maximum sentence of 25 years. Guidelines recommend 48 to 129 months.

The Roseau County Sheriff’s Department and Pine to Prairie Drug Task Force conducted an investigation using an undercover Snapchat account. Iceman posted about selling marijuana and later discussed methamphetamine transactions with an investigator.

Undercover officers transported Iceman to a residence linked to Vorachak, where the transaction occurred. Law enforcement later apprehended Iceman and seized two grams of methamphetamine.

A subsequent traffic stop on Vorachak led to the discovery of additional methamphetamine and a search of his residence uncovered 14.66 grams of the drug.

Both suspects were given bond options. Vorachak posted a surety bond, while Iceman remains in custody. Court hearings are set for December 30 and January 13.
