  1. I hope there is more to this story? Is the investigation ongoing? Is it a case of someone getting away with a serious crime? Or has an innocent person been falsely accused? If it’s the latter, then who DID fire the shots that hit the house? Did someone make the whole thing up to frame the guy?

Law Enforcement seemed confident they had their man in the beginning, they promptly arrested him, filed charges, described what he had done and suggested more charges would likely be filed. At least one article offered up by Google about this incident mentions empty shell casings found in Mr. Tibert’s car that were “similar” to ones from the house. What does that even mean? Is it just ignorant reporters that don’t know anything about firearms or ammunition? Was there a suggestion that these empty casings were maybe a similar caliber as the bullets found? Was there no suspect gun ever found? Was the silver vehicle described as being “similar” to the suspects & the presence of some empty shell casings the ONLY evidence, other than a suggestion as to motive about some tree clearing or ditch cleaning? .030” caliber might make up half of the rifle ammo in existence. If they really believed the guy did it, it would go to trial. A jury could go either way based on “evidence”, or lack of, but entirely dropping it at this point tells me there must be more to the story.
