Thief River Falls, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – On Nov. 21 at 12:17 a.m., police responded to a report of a domestic assault in the 700 block of Dewey Ave. N. Rachel Jo Nelson, 33, of Thief River Falls, was cited for domestic assault and subsequently arrested.
According to the citation, Nelson allegedly struck a man with a vase-like object, causing injuries to his right arm, neck, and chest. Officers noted Nelson was missing two acrylic fingernails and a shelf had been knocked off a wall. Nelson initially denied any physical altercation but later claimed the man had hit her with the shelf, resulting in facial injuries. Police observed no injuries on Nelson during the investigation.
