Becker County, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – James Lawrence TeJohn, 39, of rural Cass Lake, Minnesota, is facing multiple charges in Becker County District Court, including felony third-degree burglary, felony theft, and misdemeanor property damage.
On August 18, 2024, TeJohn allegedly drove a golf cart through a yard, driveway, and wire fence in the Long Lake Drive area. The cart, valued at approximately $4,500, was later found abandoned near Highway 6. Police identified TeJohn near Highway 59, matching a description captured on trail camera footage.
In another incident the same day, TeJohn allegedly entered a home on Munson Lane, claiming to check on the resident, who did not know him. He was accused of taking a bike from the garage and a bottle of jalapeño-flavored vodka, which was later found near an attic area. TeJohn was also linked to an ATV theft, with a breath test revealing a 0.10 BAC.
After posting $800 bail on August 26, TeJohn failed to appear in court on September 16, resulting in a warrant for his arrest.
