Grand Forks, North Dakota (trfnews.i234.me) — A trial date is now set for Travis Bell of Fordville in a deadly crash case near the Grand Forks airport.
Court records show Bell’s jury trial is scheduled for Jan. 27 in Grand Forks District Court.
The crash killed a 6-year-old girl
Bell is charged in a June 2024 crash near Grand Forks International Airport.
Authorities say the crash killed 6-year-old Katarina Louthain.
Her mother, Nicole Louthain, was seriously hurt, according to reports and court coverage.

Breath test evidence back in the case
A key piece of evidence is now part of the case again.
The North Dakota Supreme Court reversed a lower-court ruling that had suppressed Bell’s chemical breath test results.
Court coverage says the judge has since allowed that evidence for trial.
Charges filed
Bell faces two felony counts tied to impaired driving allegations.
- Criminal vehicular homicide
- Criminal vehicular injury
A jury will decide the case at the Jan. 27 trial date.
