Vikings Territory works in partnership with PurplePTSD, similarly doing their utmost to put forth excellent Minnesota Vikings content. As a result, we promote what they have to offer in “The View from VT,” a weekly piece. Take a look at five of their articles from the past week.

The View from VT: November 16th, 2024

1) Rob Gronkowski Has Harsh Words for One Prominent Viking: At the end of the day, the words from an analyst don’t matter. Now, Gronk is heading toward the Hall of Fame, so he knows a thing or two about succeeding in the NFL. Consider his opinion but know that it’s the opinions inside TCO Performance Center that matter the most.

2) A Preliminary Peek at the Vikings QB Situation … Next Year: Safe to say this has been a focus throughout the week. Sam Darnold’s recent poor play and then the added work done on J.J. McCarthy’s knee will do that. Over on The Vikings Gazette, there’s an exploration of keeping Darnold around in 2025.

3) The Vikings Have Yet Another Hero: Losing Will Reichard really stings. After all, it’s not as if Kwesi Adofo-Mensah has a ton of rookie-contract players who are thriving. Thankfully, John Parker Romo stepped up and offered some excellent play for the Vikings.

4) Popular Voice Suggests Wild QB Idea for Vikings: No merit to this one, folks. Sam Darnold is going to remain as the Vikings’ top option for the remainder of the year. His play would have to sink into horrendous for that to change. Even then, the move would be to shuffle over to Nick Mullens, someone whom the coaching staff likes.

5) This is the Vikings’ Current Playoff Math: Currently, the odds are really high. After all, we’re talking about a Vikings team that’s sitting on a 7-2 record and that is about to face the Titans and then the Bears. Any chance they can get to 8-2 this weekend and then 9-2 the weekend afterwards? If so, then the NFC playoffs will be close — close, not certain — to a lock.
