Rudeen Pladson, 77, of Grand Forks, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at her home.
Rudeen Elaine Jacobson was born March 16, 1947 in Grand Forks, daughter of Albert and Helen Kubash Jacobson. She grew up in Grand Forks and attended Central High School. On September 25, 1965 Rudeen married Toby Pladson. Rudeen worked in potatoes and did daycare in her home while her children were young before starting her own business Rudeen’s Novelties.
Rudeen is survived by her 3 children Cheryl Pladson, Renae (Glen) Pladson, and Corey Pladson all of Grand Forks, grandchildren Ashley, Brandon, Tiauna, Madison, Abigail, and Cadence Pladson; great-grandchildren Mariah Rodriguez, Desmin Smith, Jacob, Jayce, and Jayda Pladson; and great-great grandson Ezra Fisher; sister Vera Ward of Aneta, ND. She was preceded in death by parents Albert and Helen, husband Toby, sisters Irene (Dan) Johnson and DeeDee Jacobson and brothers Darwin, Carlin, and Eldon Jacobson.
FUNERAL: 1:00 PM on Thursday, November 21, 2024 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, East Grand Forks.
VISITATION: One hour prior to the funeral.
INTERMENT: Memorial Park Cemetery South
