WEST FARGO (trfnews.i234.me) — Police in West Fargo arrested a 43-year-old woman following a late-night chase on Thursday.

The incident began at approximately 11:20 p.m. when officers responded to reports of a disturbance near Seventh Avenue E. and Ninth Street E. The suspect had parked her vehicle in the path of oncoming traffic and exited the car.

When officers made contact, she reentered the vehicle and fled south, driving towards 10th Avenue E. and Ninth Street E., then west onto 13th Avenue E. Police initially stopped the car in the 600 block of 13th Avenue S. for reckless driving.

The driver fled again, leading officers to the 200 block of 13th Avenue W., where a PIT maneuver was used to bring the vehicle to a stop. The suspect refused to exit, prompting officers to deploy less-than-lethal means to remove her from the vehicle.

No injuries were reported.

Heather Peck, of West Fargo, faces multiple charges, including felony reckless endangerment, fleeing in a motor vehicle, possession of methamphetamine paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine, and reckless driving. Additional charges are under review.
