WEST FARGO, N.D. (trfnews.i234.me) – Heather Peck, 43, was arrested on Wednesday night after leading West Fargo Police on a multi-block pursuit through the city.
According to authorities, officers responded to reports of a disturbance at the intersection of 7th Avenue East and 9th Street East. Upon arrival, they located Peck who had parked her vehicle in an obstructive manner. After initial contact, she returned to her vehicle and fled from police.
The pursuit continued through multiple streets, with Peck driving southbound towards the intersection of 10th Avenue East and 9th Street East before turning westbound on 13th Avenue East. Officers initiated a traffic stop in the 600 block of 13th Avenue East but she refused to exit her vehicle.
A PIT maneuver was eventually executed to bring the pursuit to an end, with Peck being taken into custody without incident. There were no injuries reported during the incident.
Peck faces charges of felony reckless endangerment, fleeing in a motor vehicle, possession of methamphetamine paraphernalia, and more. Additional charges are possible as this investigation continues.
