UND to host Veterans Day ceremony at Gorecki Alumni Center – Obituary

GRAND FORKS – The public is invited to a Veterans Day Ceremony, set for 10:30 a.m. Nov. 11 at the Gorecki Alumni Center, 3501 University Ave., on the UND campus.

The event has been organized by UND, the UND ROTC program and the UND Alumni Association and Foundation to honor those who have served the United States in war or peacetime, according to an event announcement.

Speakers will include DeAnna Carlson Zink, CEO of the UND Alumni Association and Foundation; Robert Kraus, dean of UND’s John D. Odegard School of Aerospace Sciences; and Dr. Michael Brown, commander of American Legion Post 6 and former Grand Forks mayor.

The one-hour event is free and open to all ages. Refreshments and cookies will be served.
