Casey Sadek is charged with three felony terrorizing counts. He is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.

The criminal complaint says the events started late on November 21, 2025. A witness reported driving Sadek home from a bar in downtown Valley City.

During the ride, Sadek allegedly shouted and acted upset. The witness told deputies that Sadek said he needed anger management help.

According to the complaint, Sadek then spoke about killing family members. He allegedly described breaking one man’s arms and legs.

The report says he also talked about ripping that man’s eyes out. The statements led the witness to fear for the family’s safety.

Barnes County deputies later located Sadek outside a Valley City bar. He was arrested and taken into custody on the terrorizing counts.

Each charge is tied to a separate family member named in the paperwork. Terrorizing is a felony under North Dakota law and can bring prison time.

The state criminal code is available on the North Dakota Legislative Branch website at legis.nd.gov. The public can review case status and hearing dates on the North Dakota courts page at ndcourts.gov.

Advocates remind residents that help is available for people facing family threats. CAWS North Dakota lists local shelters, hotlines, and support services at cawsnorthdakota.org.

At this point, the charges against Casey Sadek are only accusations. He remains presumed innocent unless a judge or jury finds him guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
