GRAND FORKS, N.D. (trfnews.i234.me) – In a recent incident on Thursday night in Grand Forks, Donald Bartlette, 45, was arrested for allegedly beating Anthony Kiehl, 49, to death. The victim’s body was found unresponsive at his apartment and later pronounced dead at Altru Hospital.

According to an affidavit of probable cause summary, Kiehl suffered multiple injuries to his head and face during the altercation with Bartlette. When questioned by investigators, Bartlette claimed that he had been defending himself against a knife attack from Kiehl.

However, police recovered evidence in the form of a knife found at the scene and two wooden legs of a coffee table stained with blood, which contradicted Bartlette’s account. Another individual, Nicholas Wrinde-Arnold, was also arrested for conspiracy to commit murder related to this incident.

The apartment building where Kiehl resided is owned by the Grand Forks Housing Authority on Cherry Street.
