SHAKOPEE, Minn. (trfnews.i234.me) – In a YouTube video titled “Rustling is Still a Thing,” Bloomington Police Chief Booker T. Hodges discusses a recent incident involving Mary Kay Bower of St. Paul.

On October 19th around 6:45 p.m., officers were called to Old Shakopee Road East regarding two individuals walking a dog and a sheep. Initially, Bower stated that she had purchased the sheep from a nearby farm. However, her companion revealed that she had entered the property without permission, leashed the sheep, and pulled it through the fence.

The nearby farm’s owner confirmed that the sheep was indeed stolen, noting its value at approximately $500 due to being a breeding hair ram. Bower was subsequently arrested and charged with rustling and livestock theft, both of which are felony offenses.

After her release from Hennepin County Jail, Bower regained possession of her dog and an additional “bunny rabbit” that had been taken into custody along with the sheep.
