BENSON (trfnews.i234.me) – A former teacher from Benson Public Schools has pleaded guilty to four felony charges related to his alleged involvement in sexual contact with multiple male students.
Roger Ebnet, 61, entered a plea of guilty on October 22 at Swift County Courthouse. The charges against him include second-degree criminal sexual conduct involving several minors who were under his care as their teacher.
According to court documents, the incidents occurred between December 2022 and January 2024 while Ebnet was employed by Benson Public Schools. He has since resigned from his position.
The plea agreement includes a maximum sentence of 25 years in prison for each count, totaling up to 100 years if all four counts are considered aggravating factors.
