Nicholas “Nick” Sletten, senselessly lost his life the evening of October 14th, 2024, in St Paul, MN. Born in Grand Forks, ND, raised across the river in East Grand Forks, MN, he was a rambunctious kid, the youngest of several brothers and sisters from a rather large family. He was the sweetest guy, always willing to give you the shirt off his back, or maybe a Nike track suit. Nick will be sorely missed by those that knew him, which includes his brothers, sisters and so many other relatives, plus a few dogs.
He is preceded in death by his mother (Janet) his father (Delmar) and a handful of other relatives, gone long before their time.
Unfortunately, justice takes time. Nick will be cremated, and his ashes will be distributed alongside Janet and Delmar in due time. At this time, no public memorial is planned, but there will be one in the future. Until then, we ask that you remember him fondly.
