MANKATO, Minn. (trfnews.i234.me) — In a shocking turn of events, Dustin Murilla, a 35-year-old man from Southern Minnesota, has been sentenced to an astonishing 20 years in prison for his role in the fatal stabbing of a woman and terrorizing an innocent child. The harrowing incident unfolded on May 2023 during a high-speed police chase through Mankato.
Eyewitnesses reported Murilla’s erratic driving, prompting authorities to intervene. A dramatic confrontation ensued when officers rammed Murilla’s car to bring it under control. Tragically, the victim, who had been in the vehicle with Murilla, emerged covered in blood and collapsed shortly thereafter. Despite medical efforts, she succumbed to her injuries at a local hospital, having suffered an astonishing 36 stab wounds.
The horror didn’t end there; earlier that day, Murilla also subjected an 11-year-old child to unimaginable terror. He tied the young girl up and threatened her with a knife, leaving her shaken but miraculously unharmed.
