BRECKENRIDGE, Minn. (trfnews.i234.me) – A tragic head-on collision has claimed one life near Breckenridge on Monday afternoon. The Minnesota State Patrol reports that an 83-year-old female driver from Fergus Falls was killed in the crash, which occurred approximately three miles east of Breckenridge on Highway 210.
According to Sgt. Jesse Grabow, the victim’s name will be released by authorities on Tuesday. In a separate statement, Grabow confirmed that another vehicle was involved in the collision, driven by a 30-year-old man from Parkers Prairie, Minnesota. The driver sustained life-threatening injuries and is currently being treated at Sanford Hospital in Fargo.
The state patrol has launched an investigation into the cause of the crash, which remains ongoing at this time.
