Investigators are asking people with information to come forward.

Emergency Calls Report Driver Trapped

Emergency dispatchers began receiving calls about the crash around 6:35 p.m.

Moorhead police officers and firefighters responded to the burning vehicle.

Firefighters removed the driver from the wreck.

Authorities said he was an adult man and the vehicle’s only occupant.

He was taken by ambulance to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Despite attempts to save him, the man died at the hospital, according to police.

Cause of Deadly Moorhead Crash Under Investigation

Investigators have not determined what caused the vehicle to leave the road.

Sanford Ambulance and the Minnesota State Patrol assisted Moorhead police and firefighters at the scene.
