The charges include drug sales, drug possession, and storing methamphetamine paraphernalia where children were present.
Police Stop Vehicle Near East Grand Forks Schools
According to the complaint, investigators observed Ostlund near a Chevrolet Equinox parked outside a residence.
The residence was located near Stauss Park in East Grand Forks.
Officers later watched Ostlund enter the vehicle with two backpacks.
Another woman, identified as Courtney Lynn Mae Nordine, drove the vehicle away.
Police followed the Equinox as it traveled near Riverside Christian Elementary School.
Officers reported traffic violations and stopped the vehicle at a Circle K gas station.
During the investigation, officers searched the Equinox and discovered suspected drug-related materials.
Methamphetamine, Cash Found During Search
According to the complaint, investigators recovered approximately 9.4 grams of suspected methamphetamine, including packaging.
Police also reported finding $2,805 in cash inside Ostlund’s purse.
Additional items included straws, tinfoil, a pen tube, and a container resembling a Red Bull can.
Investigators alleged the can contained a hidden compartment with several small bags.
Field tests reportedly indicated methamphetamine in materials recovered during the search.
Officers believed the packaging and cash suggested possible drug distribution.
Those conclusions are allegations described in the criminal complaint.

The complaint states Nordine’s two young children had been passengers in the vehicle earlier that day.
Investigators alleged methamphetamine paraphernalia was stored in the vehicle while the children were present.
Both women reportedly acknowledged using methamphetamine earlier that day during interviews with investigators.

No laboratory confirmation of the recovered substance was included in the supplied excerpt.
