FARGO, N.D. – North Dakota State quarterback Cam Miller was named Missouri Valley Football Conference Offensive Player of the Week by the league office Monday, Oct. 7.  It is his second award of the season and third of his career.

Miller, a senior from Solon, Iowa, led six scoring drives in seven possessions before leaving the game late in the third quarter of North Dakota State’s eventual 41-17 victory over North Dakota. Miller accounted for 207 yards of total offense and three touchdowns, including his 42nd career rushing touchdown, a new MVFC record for quarterbacks.

He completed 13 of 19 passes for 168 yards and two scores, took zero sacks for the second straight game, and extended his streak to 12 games and 235 passing attempts without an interception.

North Dakota State (5-1, 2-0 MVFC) is back on the road this week to face Southern Illinois in the ESPN+ exclusive Missouri Valley Football Conference Game of the Week. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, at Saluki Stadium in Carbondale, Ill.
