White Earth (trfnews.i234.me) – Breaking news out of White Earth, Minnesota, on Saturday morning.
Initial reports said shots were fired at about 8:04 a.m. The information came over emergency radio traffic. Callers described hearing multiple gunshots.
One caller said they heard what sounded like about 10 shots. The caller added the shots sounded “fairly close.” Radio traffic then confirmed the area as near the POW grounds in White Earth.
What We Know Right Now
Reports of gunfire were tied to the area by the POW grounds. Emergency traffic indicated units were heading to the scene. Two responders were reported in the area at that time.
As of this update, no injuries have been confirmed. No property damage has been confirmed. No suspect description was released in the initial radio traffic.
What We Do Not Know Yet
Officials have not released details on what led to the report. It is also unclear if a weapon was recovered. It is unknown if anyone has been taken into custody.
