Laona Township Rollover Injures Roosevelt Woman
Laona Township (trfnews.i234.me) — A Roosevelt woman was injured Thursday after her SUV left Highway 11 and rolled.
The crash happened around 5:08 p.m. on September 24, 2026.
It occurred near 68238 Highway 11 in Laona Township, Roseau County.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2006 Honda CR-V was traveling east on Highway 11.
The vehicle left the roadway and rolled.
Driver Taken to Hospital
The driver was identified as Georgia Sue Hammer, 69, of Roosevelt, Minnesota.
Hammer suffered injuries described as non-life-threatening.
She was taken to LifeCare Medical Center for treatment.
The State Patrol reported that Hammer was wearing a seat belt.
The Honda’s airbags also deployed during the crash.
Alcohol was not suspected as a factor in the incident.
Wet Road Reported
The roadway was wet when the rollover happened, according to the crash report.
No other vehicles were listed as being involved.
The report classified the incident as an injury crash.
The exact reason the Honda left the roadway was not provided.
The State Patrol said the available information was believed to be complete.
Several Agencies Responded
Warroad Fire Department crews responded to the scene.
The Roseau County Sheriff’s Office also assisted.
Warroad Police and Warroad EMS were among the responding agencies.
The crash was handled through the Minnesota State Patrol’s Thief River Falls district.
